I had problems keeping track of everything that was going to happen when later in the future. Kids born, engagements, break ups and get togethers, moving into different houses, Jobs ect.... So i went month by month filling in what would happen

Hahahahahaha! yeah i'm not as crazy as my character. Just a 20 year old college student... with a boring life.

My character on the other hand... at this moment would be on her second engagement this time to her best friends older hated brother.

yeah it would, considering my readers arnt meant to find out what happens until the Second Generation... which is the second series.

9th book just has it as Ally and Rob engaged, then 10 book opens and she is back with her x-boyfriend Will, not much of an explanation is given other then "Something happened". Then Will beats the shit out of Rob when he comes around wanting to talk to Ally. Again just increasing the mystery of "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!!!"

Mornin!

Mine went decently...had "surf & turf" with Kenny...granted I made some of it....but I gotta hand it to him....he really pulled through with the helping out! YAY! How did your day go? I hope it went well despite titling it "The day that shall not be named".

At least you were SOMEWHAT productive last night...just because you're not writing doesn't mean that you're not "productive"....it's just a matter of realigning your priorities! LOL

Now I think that it's time that I think up SNI #2 since SNI #1 is getting looked over....Salem is in the icebox deep freezing for a while...and my fingers are really itching to do something other than stuff meant to be for frivolity rather than something I can actually sell! LOL (If I ever get to that selling point...right now I have a couple of half baked stories! LOL)

Morning!

My "day that shall not be named" was meh. I left work early because I didn't get Mike anything yet. So I went and bought a new set of pots and pans (yes, we're practical people - and he cooks a lot), then I went home and drank two glasses of wine in the dark while watching Big Bang Theory and waiting for him and the kids to get home. I was well on my way to a good buzz by then. He bought me 2 giant, white, wooden candlesticks (they match our mantle) and new silverware (practical) that he thought was five place settings per box, but were five PIECES per box. So he actually bought 2 place settings. (yes, I'm shaking my head right now) Those will be returned - at least that's the thought, but nothing at our house ever makes it back out.

Awww! The good news about that is that he TRIED...isn't it?? Sorry to hear that it was "meh". Sometimes I wonder why it is that mythology becomes the forefront of Hallmark Holidays like yesterday's was? Oh well...it's too ingrained now to call it quits isn't it?

Hope things are better for you today!

Yeah...Kenny knows my penchant for lobster & got a couple of precooked ones at the grocery store (I oohed & ahed for him. Gotta train em right ya know! LOL ;) ) So I steamed them & made some pasta for us while he grilled the steaks & did some dishes. He bought me chocolates too...which he promptly raided! He was pleasantly surprised by how good the lobster was....him being a Nebraska boy born & raised he had never had it before! LOL Up until last night he didn't understand what I'd been going on about! Needless to say I made a convert out of him! LOL

Glad that the gift didn't make it all meh for ya. Like I said...they took mythology & made a Hallmark Holiday out of it! *SIGH* A ploy to sell greeting cards & jewelry....especially those hideous "Bella type" of jewelry. UGH!

Interesting question:

If I'm writing a fictional story about a place that may or may not actually be on the map, do I have to include some sort of disclaimer in the form of a prologue? I know that ordinarily prologues are frowned upon, but I don't want people to try to hack my story up because I'm making something fictional happen to a maybe real place??

Hi guys! The day that shall not be named was ok. Nothing special. Hubs didn't get off till really late and by the time he got home, it was time to lay down with the boy to try to get him to sleep.

I did get an awesome gift from son though. He used the potty 7 times yesterday! Went from nothing the past couple of days to 7 times in 30 minutes lol.

I gave myself a present and sent him to daycare today. Going to clean and get caught up in that department and then write write write!

I'm working on SNI #2 Lauretta's got SNI #1...wanted to get some pointers on it before I really got writing on it so that I wouldn't have to do MAJOR revisions. I think that SNI #2 will be interesting though! ;)

Moni - lol. I totally understand.

I'm going to do some dishes and laundry (think I have the downstairs dishwasher fixed, need to check it) and then I'm going to write! I hope at least. Good luck on your beta notes. Wait so you have Salem and 2 other wips your working on? Did I read that right?

Hi all! I hope everyone is having a great day! :) Today I'm working on a VMars marathon to finish season two. The idea of writing in between episodes was a great one. I'm getting a good amount of words down. Woohoo! :D
