Thanks Karla. I got out another 400 words. Maybe it'll pick back up. I've written 1227 words now and finished Ch. 25. I'm almost to Ch. 29! Almost!

Thanks, guys! I hadn't been writing since I posted that 30ish minutes ago, but I'm back to writing now.

I really should be doing hw, but that'll have to wait. I'm just so inspired to write for a change! I'd written 0 words yesterday, 79 words the other day, and 540 words the day before that. At 700 words now, I've already written more than I had the past three days! So this is a good start!

I just found out I got an extension on something due tomorrow (I emailed my prof earlier today). And I'm emailing another prof for my Tuesday/Thursday class if I can turn in something due Thursday late.

So hopefully I can just focus on completing my overdue hw during the next couple of days.

ETA: AW is distracting me lol, so I'm gonna exit out of Firefox and write another 1K. (at 700 now). I have a good feeling I'll reach 2K within the next 1.5 hours, so I'll do hw when I'm done with that. Then I'll do my regular rewards thing: HW for a certain amount of time then writing for half that time. Later guys!

I hope everyone is well!

I sent queries out for all my books today. No response yet on my YA novel but it has only been a week,lol. Congrats on the high word counts. Y'all better werk! :hooray:

I heard revising is harder than actually writing the novel. I believe it. Going over my books,I am shuddering at the amount of purple prose they contain. Sigh,I must slay Barney.

Hi guys!

Ups and downs today. Line edits are going okay. Put in a new scene based on beta commentary, fixing language.

Heard back from a critique partner who didn't like my book, which is sad. She didn't sign on for my MC, or my premise.

Oh well. I know it's not true that no one wants to read it, because another CP loved it. Can't please everyone, and while I know what she said will probably come out of the mouth of someone on acquisitions, well....

I still love it.

ETA: I'm at an official word count (as of this MINUTE) 5,395...I think that I'm officially "on a roll" I don't write for like 5 days...and then I write like a bat outta hades..what can I say...I'm the exception & not the rule...do as I say & not as I do kids! LOL

It's a way to send a short comment to another person privately without having to send a whole personal message through the email system here. You hit the weight symbol under someone's avi and a box pops up. type your message in there and enter. It goes to their user cp (look at the top of the page in the blue bar to go to yours to see if you have a rep.
