How to submit?

This may sound like a dumb question, but when submitting verses to card companies should you send them in the form of an attachment or write them in the body of the email?

Unless the company's guidelines state otherwise, put them in the body of an email. (Their email may be set to not accept attachments, and you wouldn't know they never read yours.)

When I'm subbing for the first time, I always write a short message at the top, and after the verses, I add a resume of my writing experience.

Best of luck! : )

To add to Peggy P's great advice, sometimes they don't take email and want the writer to snail mail. They'll usually want them on 3x5 index cards with your contact info and a #to identify the greeting, such as BD-32-1. Hope this helps.

... what if you don't have an experience for a bio or resume, then what? I know that I want to submit my work to a company through their online web form, but there's a section/box for bio. information.

Bio can be interpreted as not the same as experience; so you might put in general information like "live in the midwest" or whatever, "20-something" "high school or college grad." (I never give specifics, especially right off. If they like what you sent, they'll buy it regardless of bio or experience. That's my 2 cents, anyway!

Where can we look if we want to find companies to submit to?
