Thank you. That was from April 1st until yesterday. Basically it was about 3500 a day. I'd like to get 5k a day done. That's why I was disappointed that I didn't get my 15k. Yes...I'm being hard on myself...but I've only got 60 days to write and edit this piece. *SIGH* I knew I had a little bit of crazy in me...but until now I didn't realize that it wasn't just a "little" bit of crazy! ROFL
Moni, I took this weekend off to do nothing but write, including today and Friday, and I've only written 7.5K. So 11K is really good.

Ok...as soon as this aspirin kicks in and I get a cup of coffee in me.
Time to get my word doc open & look at what to write next. Let's hope it turns out as well as I'm hoping it will!
I need to get more twizzlers and Dr Pepper. The pretzel sticks aren't *quite* as big a deal. Dr. Pepper is most important.

Thanks for the tip Moni, I figured there had to be some kind of catch if they only took 50 submissions for the month. Wondered if it would be hard to get in, and have nothing completed to post for it, so yeah. Not going there this month.

You can do it! I have faith in you! It IS a very pretty avatar! Good choice on it! So get to work.
I have a completed work. So the last time I tried to submit...I was too late on the first time....then too early...when I still tried to submit after that I was too late. It's a dicey process....but you are right in that if you don't have anything finished that it's good to wait until next time. The good news about that is that she runs this every month. So you still have a chance to enter...hopefully you'll get in!
Ok...I've bought more kitty litter...changed the box...and have eaten myself some Ferrero Rocher....time to try to get creative. Oh.....and Dollar General was having a sale in Diet Coke 2ltr bottles....I'm stoked! hee hee!
I'll check back in soon! Maybe by the time I check in Sage will have some progress to report!

I have no clue. I knew about the Steampunk thing, so I searched for "steampunk" and "teen" last week and that was the best thing I found.

THanks for the great YAWN, glad you liked the world. I set it in modern day, in a large city, in our world, but with a hidden underbelly. A world we don't see, because we aren't supposed to for their survival and ours. One where at least one source of legend is just a group of people trying to survive and live their lives, while their genetic counterparts really are the monsters we fear go bump in the night. Lol

I have only 7,083 words on the snippet yet. It was 94,000 but I just wasn't thrilled with it, so loving the plot an all I decided to start fresh. I have my work cut out for me, but it is moving, lol.
