Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? (besides beating down walls?
Yesterday, I played putt putt golf (so much fun). Today, I'll be spending the morning sitting in a little cabin overlooking the Ouachita River. Later, I'm thinking of hitting the diamond mines, then tomorrow it's horseback riding and a canoe trip down the river.
Ah-oh, well, might as well peak in and say hi.
It feels so awkward being new.
But hey, I brought cookies.

I have followed the #1 and brought in my plate of freshly baked double chocolate chip cookies dipped in chocolate fudge syrup! Of course I understand it's a voluntary --but who can resist! After reading the you just can't help but baking those delicious treats.
What's #2?? Candy? Ice Cream? Brownies?? All of the above? And just what happens when you don't follow the ??

our town has a thing called "Sharefest" where all the churches get together and do stuff for the community like put roofs on houses, yard work, and anything someone needs done. We are making 100 dozen cookies
What a wonderful way to spread happiness! I would totally pitch in and bake a few dozen (being sure to test them for quality, of course.

Spiral, we got the same storm, I think. It happened this morning. It was a litle freaky. I was worried about the skylights, but they held up fine.
Where I grew up, my church would do the community helping day. My friends and I would always rake leaves for the same elderly couple. They were great. I think they really just wanted us around to talk and feed cookies and lemonade to.

That is so awesome. I almost can't believe people can still be that nice with some of the things in the news anymore...

I never even thought of the skylights in our outdoor room! I'm glad both of our skylights were fine!
My daughter collected some of the hail and put it in the freezer
