They'd probably taste good with a rib-eye stacked on them too.

Eat the cheese without the grits, tastes the same. Save the calories

Ah... at the risk of sounding like a complete idjit... what are grits? Is it something like True Grit? But I don't know what that is either.

Grits are the by-product left when everything worth eating is taken out of corn, including the flavor.

What is left is a tasteless, ordorless, pile of white that takes on the flavor of whatever you put on it. So they are 'good' if what you put on them is good.

Chocolate is the anti-grit. Whatever you put it on tastes good. May the twain never meet.

I never could understand why people liked grits...now I understand. It's like a duty.

"We can't throw this out, that would be a waste. Eat it. Pretend you like it." umm. Yes. Pork rinds, hominy, pigs knuckles, tripe...ugh.

Pshaw, man! Even naked with only a swirl of molten, golden butter...

One I will lovingly perform... yum!

Lausy, no! Not on grits!

People Heathens who eat sugar and milk on grits have them confused with oatmeal. Ptooey.
Um, my Scottish heritage forces me to say that oatmeal should also be served with butter, salt and pepper. And don't give me none of them Quaker Instant Oats, neither. And save your milk for your Cherios.

Even descended as I am from one of the men transported to the Colonies from Scotland after the Battle of Worcester in 1651, I will confess I have never eaten my oats with pepper - whether they be extra thick rolled oats (Bob's Big Red Barn brand are primo) or steel cut. I'm a brown sugar, butter, and milk person m'self.

Next you'll be telling me barley should be cooked and served in a used stomach along with some other mutilated innards ....

Around this pile of lumber, GRITS are Girls Raised In The South. Ain't nothin' bland about 'em.

What's happened to Joebear? We haven't heard from him for ages. Also, where's Del. Did he fly south for the summer?

I think Del flew into one too many roadsigns along the way.

He tends to wander off for a while. Might be lost?
