If it's worth anything, I also couldn't read Splendad's user title as 'man' in opposition to 'woman'. It never occurred to me that it was making a distinction between what it would take to correct a male rather than a female.

Now if you were trying to correct waterfalls or daffodils or carburetors, you'd probably want to make a very specific case for one of those.
