Actually, I'm annoyed. I went to go buy more holiday bread mix at the grocery store, only to find they're wiped out. I wanted to bake some for a few people, including our recently widower neighbor. He lost his wife in January. It's so sad. She loved Christmas, and they would be out the day after Thanksgiving, putting up lights and poinsettias. Now it's just him and his grown son, and the house is dark.
On an up note, I'm writing again!

I'm sorry to hear about the neighbor. Losing family close to a holiday is rough. You could write him something, maybe cheer him up a bit...something silly and humorous perhaps?

Y'know, I didn't get any Spam from Wicked. Probably a good thing - I don't like ham, so Spam sounds pretty gross.
I'm now doubting my resolve to go to Melbourne for a few days. I mean, what's a relaxing shopping trip compared to using the money to pay off some student debt?
*sigh* I could really use a holiday on my own, but I'm probably too sensible for all that.
We'll see.
