Not necessarily. Some people may complain about these actors, but certainly there are others out there shelling out money to see them. Really, any failings in the industry presently aren't about the actors, anyway. Start at the top, see what's getting the green light and why it's getting the green light. That's something to complain about, but then it would lead to fans complaining about other fans and the international market, etc., and that's not as much "fun" as a simple gripe-fest aimed at the big name actors.

I was being sarcastic. I write screenplays.

ETA: My only problem with Hollywood is their audience -- ie, people eating up bro-comedies. I hate them because they make it difficult to participate in screenwriting communities. When everyone wants to be Judd Apatow, it makes for very dull reading.

Keira Knightly seems to be on the short list of talents (?) who should take a nice long walk in the woods, but I can't say I've ever seen her in anything except Domino and everything and everyone in that flick was terrible.

Ive seen the Wicker Man. i wasnt not pleased. i cant laugh at him unless harm was done to him. not even for is bad acting. If i ever saw him in the streets. Id punch him in the face as hard as i can and yell "NO!" In his face before walking away.

Yes, Nick is a hit or misser. There are some movies he can carry. I think he did all right in National Treasure, and that movie where he played a neurotic con man, with his fake daughter. I can't rule him out completely. Wicker Man was just plain weird.
