There's an evac warning out for my town. 'Our' river was not nearly as overloaded with water as others in the area, but apparently the pressure is too much for the dikes and water is seeping through. Dikes may burst.
*sigh* At this point I'm like, I'll see what happens.
Just me, thinking out loud here, but... if there is an evac warning, don't you think you should heed it?
Or is that the warning before the actual evac?
As an elected official, if the call comes to leave, you really should. Set a good example for your constituents and all that. Also for your own safety. Which is perhaps the more important part.
