Eh, count me in the "[American] Football is stupid" camp. I only have one sport I care about, and there's still several months to go before opening day.

I have become a fan of Portuguese cuisine myself. Never thought that would happen, but it pays to have Portuguese friends who can cook!

An American Southern cooking is teh awesome as well.

Me too. It's very annoying that the BBC aren't showing any of the Australian Open, except for the women's and men's singles finals next weekend. I'll have to subscribe to Sky if I want to watch any more, and that's money I'd rather spend elsewhere, especially as it would go into Rupert Murdoch's pccket.

I've booked the finals week as leave from the dayjob.

I don't miss TV, and there's honestly not much I watch, but I'll be honest: I wouldn't mind a subscription to a sports channel(s). I love me some tennis and rarely get to watch it unless I go out of my way. I might try and catch the finals if they don't clash with MrMacologist's football...
