The secret to shopping is to get into the habit of not having a plan.
I used to go into a shopping centre, thinking, "Okay, I just need to get X and Y, they'll be over there, then I can get out of here." Bo-oring!
Now, when I have the time, I'll just hit up some shops that may have something similar to what I sort of want, and window shop. If I find something I want for a decent price that I can afford, I'll buy it.
But the trick is to just enjoy being surrounded by so many products. It's amazing what you'll find if you only enjoy yourself.
(Oh, and I recommend a purple cotton sundress. Now that it's winter where you are, any you find should be heavily discounted, and sundresses are awesome.)
