Creepy and wrong.
I was wondering that myself, although it's a little late for me.

Still, perhaps I may be able to use this information to shield any offspring I may have.

How have you managed it, pd?

How is this possible?

They came out before I was born - the old ones anyway.

The newer ones, well I just never got round to renting them. I was going to watch them in order, from the first to - how many are there again?

Mainly the parts I have seen were on TV. Be it the movie, or just clips.

And I watch several channels at once if I watch TV. I hate commercials. There was always something else on that I ended up watching instead.

Shield them???? Are you insane?

someone sounds slightly offended. :)

*Notes that Vince must have seen "Fanboys" - and oddly enough I have seen THAT movie all the way through. It was pretty good.

:D

So I have seen the movie about Star Wars. and one of my all time favorites is Space Balls.

But I've never seen all of Star Wars.

The Last Star Fighter. That one I have seen. That is a cool movie.

Stars Wars is the coin of the realm. Most everthing sci-fi since then springs from that.

I saw the original at a matinee the day after it opened. It was groundbreaking for its time. The special effects were absolutely leading-edge. While the story itself was basic archetypal western/samurai, it was so complete and well-thought-out that it was amazing it occurred in the mainstream.

Well, eventually I will get around to watching all 6 of them.

Eventually.

I agree, SLC. Aesthetically, Lucas should have quit while he was ahead. But it was absolutely brilliant marketing, and hooked a whole new generation.

I took my kids to see the rereleases of the three originals in theaters, and they loved them. At least now they have the cultural reference.

I put this part in white, just incase there is that one other person out there who hasn't seen it

:D Though highly unlikely.

You mean like the fact that a certain someone who starts out as a young boy without a father, and is trained as a Jedi, ends up being a famous man in black?

Or that his wife dies of a broken heart and her twins are separated at birth. Destined to become 2 important main characters later in their years. ;)

I told you, I've watched pieces of the movies. :D

That and whenever someone makes a reference to them, either here or on TV - I google the quote of the scene so I know what's going on. :)

Yes, that part in white, especially that second part?

That's just ONE of the glaring continuity issues.

ONE.

The Force is a bunch of bacteria my @#$.

Hey! Go easy on the force! It's only a pre-adolescent's mental stew of religion and new age mysticism, for ... for ... for Pete's sake!

Howdy, Katze.

I refuse to ever watch another Star Wars movie. I loved the first two films, hated the Ewoks, was dumb enough to pay to watch the re-release of Episode IV, and will not see the prequels based on that experience alone.
