Yeah, tell me about it.

Some threads have, like, 2 or 3 pages of activity while I'm asleep, and then maximum 1 page for the duration of my waking hours.

Gives me plenty to read in the mornings, or when I first come online if the morning is busy, but not much in the way of company a lot of the time.

We should fire up the barbie and waft some of the scents overseas. Who wouldn't wake up for a free sausage sizzle, I ask you? :tongue

Same here coming in from southern Africa -- but I do like waking in the morning and finding 10 hours worth of posts waiting for me to read!

Don't be sad! There are a few crazy Americans who sleep when the sun comes up and wake up when it's down. I make friends with people in opposite time zones easily. :p

...I need a job. x.x

Would you hate me if I said I didn't like egg, IRU? :D

I've recently come to enjoy bacon though. Maybe a piece of very fresh white bread, a sausage and a rasher of bacon, topped with Heinz tomato sauce and maybe a little onion (but only if it's well cooked - cold/raw onion ruins it for me).

Mmm...

Lawks, no. What are you, heathens? :)D)

Interestingly (or not) if you make Stilton in Stilton, you can't call it Stilton.

Nah - we're only teasing. We even have pecorino down here... pungent though it is.

You know what we don't have though? We don't have Mornington Crescent. (The game, not the tube station.) We should have - it sounds like fun.

I'm not a cheese buff.

Basically, anything that gets nice and melty in a toasted sandwich is generally alright with me... Not that I've tried blue cheese...

I don't eat cheese often, but when I make a cheese toasty, I usually use more cheese than is necessary. :tongue I'm like a binge cheeser.

Twenty nine years ago today, I had my first baby.

Happy birthday to your son and I hope he is not going to have a 30-years-old-and-what-next crisis.

Australian brunches are terrifying.

I remember that (as a Kiwi currently living in the US). i used to get up, read all new emails and posts, respond--then close the internet until the next day. Not a huge amount of real time interaction.

Maybe there should be an Antipodean Interactions and Party All Night thread?
