Wow. I didn't know this guy's name until today, but his Narnia covers really helped bring that world to life for me.

Leo Dillon was the first African-American to win the Caldecott Medal. Oh no! His work was beautiful. It was rare too, to see a husband and wife team up in the way they did with their art. They created some great things together.
