Recalculating....
Question: Who's been quoted the most in your Book Of Quotes?

Curious minds want to know.

I dunno. I'll check the stats later today and see. A lot of Cantineros are in there cause you all are soooooooo quotable.

:D

I have young roosters instead of cocks this time, so my quote book mentions will be reduced.

I do still have cocks in freezer camp though...

How did you know I have a three day weekend this week?

You been spying on me?

Again??

:e2shower:

How do you have a three day weekend?

I have the fourth kinda off.

Also I started writing my next SFF Challenge piece and already did it wrong. Good bye one handwritten page. Let's try this again. :)

There is no spoon. Er, wrong way. Roll with it.

Morning all.

Goodness CA. *gives mean look to dentist* I do understand hitting a blood vessel in the face (some of us have the lower jaw nerve in an odd place) but that was ridiculous! Hope it gets better very soon.

Junie, get better, I hope you just stayed home. Church loves you but can do without you if you are still ill.

Yea for datage RW! How'd it go?

*Waves to everyone*

Crit partner one liked the PNR (YAY!) but also said "not as compelling as your YA." I lurve my YA, too, but I'm trying to decide if this is because YA is first person, PNR is third. Or perhaps it's a novella vs. novel thing? I will wait until CP No. 2 sends her feedback tonight. Then contemplate.

Also, dental debacle continues. Eye doctor is sending me to a specialist this afternoon. But we don't actually know that anything is wrong, just that the whole thing is weird. Lovely. So ready to be done with this week. (And having to go places in public with a purple bruise on my cheek.)

Is this some new popsicle trend I'm unfamiliar with? :D

Good luck, CA.

And I have male and female guinea fowl in the freezer, thus the cocksicle jokes.

Yes, wait for specifics - and decide whether you agree with them - first.

Yes, the whole thing is weird, and CRAZY CREEPY. There's nothing worse than drawn-out medical uncertainty. Except maybe drawn-out medical uncertainty with facial bruises. :(

They are wrapped and I sucked them til they were air tight. The bags that is. I wouldn't suck ---censored---!

Too much, Fen. Too much.

Might just be a personal preference thing. Is the PNR a novella?

Nothing like a routine thing ruining your whole week. :(

I'm also curious about this new popsicle situation. :D

Yes, the PNR is a novella, just shy of 30K. I think it may just be that the heroine in the PNR is less cheeky than the YA heroine. And that CP loves the snark. (I do, too.)

I'll wait and see if they agree, then decide if I agree, too.

What's happening in Minnesota?

A wet month culminating in nine inches of rainfall last night has turned Duluth into a mess of flooded streets, sinkholes, and raging rivers. State of emergency declared, and the Red Cross is setting up shelters.

Apparently the Lake Superior Zoo was particuarly hard-hit. I'm a country away, worrying myself bald over friends that still have to commute to their jobs.

If you would like to know a little more there's a link to the reuters news service story. The Washington Times has the rather understated, and bleedin' obvious, 'residents are advised not to travel'. I think they're probably a bit too busy if they're already at home.

The New York daily news has a pic of a seal stuck in traffic (I'm not kidding - go google, you'll see)

There's some impressively worrying photos of some of the flood damage here, too.

Back to worrying myself bald, and intermittently chewing my fingers off. I mean, I'm used to sporadic and damaging weather where I live - like the grass fire paired with 120kph gusts of wind back in November - but this is not good for my nerves.

*collapses on the biggest pile of smibbles*

So I went and got my drivers license today. Took me 3.5 hours. I really thought I'd only be there for 2 tops. Now I'm home and my boys are mad at me for being gone so long.

If I have to leave my kids for that long I want to be doing something fun damnit!
