What does everyone think of this idea? (Big Cat Singing Group)

I have a series (that wound up being 10 stories altogether,)
which is kind of based on The Cheetah Girls, except instead of 4 girls, it's 4 big cats. They are:
Kala- dirty blonde lioness
Kimba- Tiger
Nava-Panther
Kyri- Cheetah
The group is called Growl Power and they have all kinds of crazy adventures, (with plenty of singing thrown in). Should I try to get it published or would it be considered a ripoff of the Cheetah Girls and/or plagarism?

Also, does anyone like the idea?
(If anyone has any questions, I can answer them!)

It can easily be written different enough that it won't feel like a ripoff. I see no issue here.

+1 But, I'm assuming this is a writing for kids project?

Yeah, mostly. There's a lot of deaths in the series, though, so maybe it's for 10 years and up.

They're not eating the back-up singers, are they?

No, most of the deaths are from illness or car accident, pretty normal things like that. For example, 3 out of the 4 main girls only have 1 parent, due to death.
