Hi AuthorJ -- I am from Zimbabwe originally and now work between South Africa and Angola, but spent a great deal of time in Kenya growing up (Malindi) and still visit Nairobi about once a year. There are some great writing collectives there and I follow the writings of Binyavanga Wainaina.
