I just made a Caribou run.
Why, what did he do to you? :D

No seriously, what? :Wha:

Want some of my yummy vanilla latte with an extra shot? :D
Sure. Thank you. All of my coffee cups are in the dishwasher. I had to use my backup. And it isn't as pleasant of a coffee experience for me. :e2bummed:

Gotta bring out the big guns for today. 24 HOURS UNTIL THE MOVERS ARE HERE!
:hooray:

*headdesk*

The answer, then, is no...

Get packing - time will slip by so quickly. They will be there before you know it.

Oh no! :( You don't have it in a glass or one of your kid's sippy cups, do you?

Lately I've been on a Caribou COFFEE kick. Not so much because of the coffee, but the baristas there are soooo nice and sweet! Its fun seeing them. :)

Don't worry :) I only have about half the kitchen and my bedroom closet left and then to clean and organize everything so the movers can just come in and make off with the boxes. The cleaning is the consuming part as I'm having a hard time getting myself to turn on the self cleaning oven with it being 95 today.

*dies of heat exhaustion*

The bedroom closet...

Oh dear gods. I know what women mean by "just a few clothes" - please tell me you don't still have to pack up dozens of shoes and stacks of clothes...

I'm smart about my clothes addiction! I use vacuum sucktion bags that reduce the space they take up by 1/3. :D I have about 6 vacuum suction bags to store under the bed and I'll be using 3-4 more right now as I pack the others for moving. One will be all pillows and my comforter.

I r smart girl. :D

And for the kitchen I just have the dishes, canned foods and pots/pans that I'm running through the dishwasher first. :D:D

DAMMIT! Now I'm out of spoons! It's like someone stopped doing dishes around here.

Wait...oh, that'd be me.

*cough* Hey, now. Not *all* women have closets like that. In my house, I have the least amount of clothes and shoes.

That's what sucks about finding a piece you really love. I don't dry my shirts because I want to keep them longer and drying is hard on them.

That being said... I've never in my life had more clothes than I do now. I used to not care and wear a lot of t-shirts. Lately I've been buying nicer blouses and stuff.

There is nothing better than t-shirts. :D

I have somewhere in the region of fifty good ones at the moment. Okay, I say "good", but that depends entirely on your opinion on those featuring Zombie Homer, various Batman designs, TV shows and films... :)

Oooh - do you remember the light colored cardigan which Paul Michael Glaser wore in Starsky & Hutch? I got one like that, but it doesn't have the pattern on it. :) Still looking for the wide collared shirts which everyone wore in those shows, but at least I have a start on my 70s wardrobe. Oh, and I have a vintage white shirt with a brown stitched pattern down the front. :D

BW has 50 t-shirts? And he's teasing you about the size of your wardrobe? :tongue

There's something wrong with that.

I'm a couple years away from having "nice" clothes again. With as much as my kids (and now puppy) dish out, everything I get now has to be durable. "Performance" wear and "all weather" usually.

Hey! Back from Chichester and Kiss me Kate!

Blimey, showbiz is a small world. I went to see my sis in the show, but found out I'd worked with: the male lead, half of the 'brush up your Shakespeare' duo, the musical director, the choreographer and the wig lady. And the ex-wife of the sax player. And I know the director. Horror link, Hound purists - the 'brush up your Shakespeare' guy was the voice of the plant in one of my stints in 'Little Shop of Horrors'.

What'd I miss? Someone's moving but hasn't packed (hope that deal with the Devil is going OK) and there are geeky t-shirts floating around....

How's our zombie musical going, by the way? I trust you've all been working on a rough draft while I was gone.

Hi folks.

So, I actually got some sleep last night. More accurately, I think I passed out from so long without much sleep, for way longer than I would have liked. Sleeping 6 hours in a chair is usually a bad idea.
Blimey, that's not good. Are you at the hallucinating stage, yet?

Yeah, I know... In fairness, I hardly have any shirts. I dislike the feel of something tight around my neck, which is further proof I was hung in a previous life. :D

I feel caught-up on sleep, but this means I won't get a decent night for at least another couple of days.

Can you take sleeping pills without having a knock-on effect on your natural sleep? It isn't a good feeling tired all the time, yet being unable to sleep. :(

Ugh. Stress.

BTW, those CDs with rain-forest noises you can buy to help aid sleep (all seemingly more expensive than regular albums) don't work. None of them. Even the one with the photograph of the woman in a hammock sleeping in what looks like a scene out of the original Predator film. I've got a stack of them, and all they make me feel is anxious that I'm going to get attacked by wild animals...

Hey, all. Checking in. Abby, pack like the wind, Bullseye! Ted, distress with distress - causing it. That is how trolls stay healthy.

So I don't have a spider bite, though it looked like one and there is a spider infestation where I work. Nope. I have a staph infection. A community-acquired staph infection. Guys, the virus has moved out of the hospital and in to the general populous. Be afraid.

The antibiotics I am on make me sick. Make thinking feel cottony. But. They are working, so probably no MRSA, yay.

Hopefully I will recover and return to my regular negligence soon.
