Hm, June- we could get our overlord business started again and have Hillz join us. We'd be like Charlie's ArchAngels, sans Charlie.

You in, Hillz?

An overlord club? Will there be meetings?

My day is like this:

:gaah

:dire:

:gaah

Also, I am not my husband's mom so he never has to tell me where he is going or what he is doing. Also, I am supposed to automagically know when he's staying in the house to "help" me vs. when he is staying in the house between activities he won't tell me about. And if I can't tell the difference, I am supposed to ask (see also, the first sentence).

I found all of that very interesting.

Oh, for goodness sake...

How much longer until you finish work?

I... have no idea what to say on that. Really. Tell him to communicate better. And why won't he tell you what he's doing? :Wha:

Well, technically, any time I like. I'm self employed, and right now I'm self employed on my own project. Only I really want to get the blog page I'm working on written. Instead of which I am drawn back here like Wile E. Coyote and one of those danged ACME magnets.

Maybe I'm just easily distracted at this time of day. I get more done in the mornings because there's no one here except early risers and Sian when she stays up late.

Yeah, I caught him up in that bit of logic. We've been having a rough time. Again. I am going to lose my marbles if I don't get some time out of the house alone. But I still argue if he gets to do things without paying a babysitter, I should too.

And it's stupid crap like running up to gas station and not telling me or asking if I need anything. Nope, I'm just running out of milk for fun.

No. Grand dinners with random discussions. Trips to purchase dragons. Gatherings with war engines. Jousting. Maimings of power point presenters. Ass kickings. Usual overlord things.

And why is it King Arthur, a good guy, knew to kill the children so one wouldn't fulfill the direProphecy, but evil overlords don't. Sure Arthur failed, but statistically your odds are better when targeting the innocent before they meet the Wise Mentor.

Sooo... All we have to do is keep you engaged in conversation, and any lingering self-restraint goes out the window? Awesome. :D

You advocate that evil overlords mass murder children?

You could teach the Hounds a thing or two...

I have two words for you.

Lord. Voldemort.

Dongs are herbal, right??

Well suddenly when I say I make a little money practicing herbal medicine it takes on a whole new meaning...

But that was the only way I got through the third film.

Ewww, there's a third one?! While Harry's Law doesn't get a third season? What's the world coming to I tell ya!

I especially can't stand Glee.

Yeah, me either. Plus I'm quite possibly the only gay person in the world who doesn't like even one musical. Not one.

I also loathe Joss Whedon. Everyone I know loves him, and I can't get any of them to watch Stargate. *frowny frown frownface*

Would it be obtuse/too soon/presumptuous of me to say dump the prick? 'Cause if not, y'know... Dump the prick.

I'm just saying, it was good enough for Arthur and he's an idol.

I have two words for you.

Lord. Voldemort.

Total. Fool. Who splits their soul anyways? His chakras must have been a mess. Plus, he should know love trumps evil spells, despite that being the only instance of it happening in the Potterverse.

Not a single one? Not even Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? How about Disney cartoons? Oooh - you must have at least a sneaking liking for Paint Your Wagon. :D

SG-1 was okay, Atlantis was stupid beyond description, and Universe made my head hurt. The cartoon was abysmal.

Well yes. But isn' that in the remit for Evil Overlords? I mean you were making the point that they were all stupid. I'm just pointing out that Lord Voldemort actually did try it.

And now I'm pointing out that I'm going to bed. My bid for world domination will continue tomorrow.

See you on the flip side cantina.

I hate Universe with a passion, Atlantis was okay if you treated it like a parody, and SG-1 is great if you don't want to think too hard. It's actually the only scifi about which I don't think obscenely hard.

Also, no, not even any of those. I don't even know what Paint Your Wagon is. An 1800s edition of Pimp My Ride?

Good afternoon, guys!

Well, I got a little bit written so far. It just feels kind of weird still writing in first person. That's probably because I wrote in third person for so long so, it's so strange. Ha! I still haven't plotted out what I'm writing out yet, which something I'm probably going to regret later. Haha.

:Jaw:

It is... I mean... C'mon, work with me here... Paint Your Wagon... HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THIS? I thought it was a universally acknowledged classic stealth parody.

Yay for writing. :)

Which is what I'm meant to be doing - not playing on AW...
