It is... I mean... C'mon, work with me here... Paint Your Wagon... HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THIS? I thought it was a universally acknowledged classic stealth parody.

Yay for writing.

And I was more of a "Planet of the Apes: The Musical" kind of person.

Didn't get to go to my meeting after all, because Timmy decided to overdose on painkillers (the tasty kind). Spent the evening at the vet's. Sigh. I swear that dog is trying to give me a heart attack.

I have no idea to what you are referring, and I have seen some of the bugs bunny cartoons. Must have been an older one in which said spear and magic helmet showed up.

Yeah, got no idea either *clicks on link*. See BW - you are educating the masses, not playing. It's passing on knowledge to younger generations

No, you're not!

... younger generations implies, you know, just those younger than you.

*backpeddles*

(I'm pretty sure you're not younger than 20, so you could be 25 and this would still all apply)

What was it in?

And on the off chance that it was Boardwalk Empire: who died?

I ask because I've heard that like 90% of the death scenes in there are pretty damn bad, but I didn't bat an eyelash and usually really brutal death scenes at least make me say, "Well, that was violent."

Boardwalk Empire has it's share of rather brutal death scenes (after all, a dude being shot in the head never quite loses its effectiveness), but that's not what this is from.

This is from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Not to give too much away in case some folks reading this don't want plot details spoiled, but a dude uses magical fire to roast a woman alive until she literally turns to dust. Oh, and she's screaming in agony the entire time.

Seriously, if you want to watch it, go right ahead. Probably won't be as hard to watch for you as it was for me, but still...

Really the entire scene it happens in is pretty hard for me to watch. Maybe I'm just a total pansy, I dunno.

Not as bad as The Major being shot to bits at the end of the first GITS movie, and - if we are talkin' full-on WTF - the death scene Joe Pesci gets in GoodFellas always gets me. Every. Single. Time. If you don't like horrible death scenes, then steer clear of 70s Italian horror films (pretty much anything with the word Cannibal in the title is a hundred times worse).

Ah, I already know who killed who there. I used to read the manga back when I had friends who lent me copies.

It's 7pm. I'm thinking of just crawling into bed. I probably could sleep for 12 hours...

The books are worse. Just saying. I used to go through them like nothing on earth when I was in japan, and yeah... they were violent.
