Read about 1/4 of the 60k. Going to take a break right now.

But y'know, I never realised quite how disturbed I could be when I tried. This book is really messed up...

I think it'll be hard to find a home for it... There are 2 POV characters. They both start out very, very evil, but one becomes good later on.

And I've got to wonder, if a publisher only asks for the first so much of the story, and that's before the MC becomes good... Well, it might be a tough sell, having 2 evil characters as MCs...

I think I'll work on some outlines/guidelines tomorrow. Right now, I really don't have a good idea of where either of my WIPs are going. So, I need to figure that out before I do anything else I think. Maybe something will hit me and I'll get an idea.

Read 55 pages out of 103... Single-spaced, 11pt. That's a lot of reading!

Going to leave the rest of the reading for tomorrow.

I must say, I really like the way this book is reading. I'll be happy to finish it and send it out (after gruelling edits, of course).

Finally, I have my laptop back and I'm completely settled into my new place. Sigh Camp ended up being a no go for me, but I'm still working on my WIP's. Hopefully now that I have my laptop back, I can do more writing.

Good luck with orientation VampyrePrincess. I agree with Cliff Face even though I hate waking up early I preferred morning classes so I can start early and finish early. Going to class in afternoon isn't bad but evenings suck. Especially when you have a job.

Okay, I have to be THE world's worst JulNoWriMoer. >_< I didn't write yesterday, nor the day before. The thing about summer is that, despite the vast amounts of free time I have, my life follows no schedule, and so I'm liable to ditch writing for going out and hanging with friends.

At least I'm retreating to the country for a couple of days... gotta get my butt in gear to finish this novel. Only 20k left!! Wahhh! That is, if it doesn't go over the anticipated word count... and as much as I want to finish, I'm going to have a hard time letting go of my characters.

Thanks Working on picking my classes... Something English, probably an advanced math, probably an honors psychology class... Working on it. We'll see. (schedule is figured out during Monday's part of orientation)

I was going to have all morning classes, but the math class I want to take is four days a week and in the afternoon, and I figured it'd be easier for me to have them all at once than to have a three-hour gap in between classes...

That, and my ride to class seems like he'll have mostly afternoon classes as well We'll see how it goes.

I've written 6k in Voices From The Beyond, and 3k in The Ghosts of Dr. Weird.

Although getting any writing whatsoever done is good, I had intended to work on Ghostslayer and Soul Thief this month, not the two works mentioned above. And finish Reflected. Argh, muse, where are you?

(I shouldn't be too angry at my muse though, I've been struggling with Voices From The Beyond for roughly half a year and friday I was suddenly able to write down two full chapters. Woohoo! Finally got the right voice).

*sigh* I don't know how I feel about my current WIP right now; part of me still feels....I don't know, apprehension at the subject I guess. And I'm really thinking of starting on something or working on something else. I don't know what to do. I mean I did get far in it and all but at the same time, you know, it's just a story. It probably won't be my last one.
