Fingers, toes, eyes, and wires crossed for you, lady!

Lily, sending good book-health vibes your way.

With Ink on the peach yogurt thing: I'm not a fan of peaches unless they're fresh, and never mixed with dairy. The blood orange is quite awesome, though. :)

Busy, busy, busy, you lot!

((((RAB))))

((((Lily))))

Sunna - Sorry about the lousy coffee. :(

LW - Fingers crossed!

I love Greek yoghurt, absolutely love it, especially with fresh, ripe strawberries. Yum.

Busy in the editing cave today. Tomorrow I shall be Picky, Evil Editor because it's Submissions Day. Yes, that day when I sit down and wade through the virtual slush pile and trample on writers' dreams.

*cackle*

So, I sent the r&r today. I'll be in the corner rocking back and forth and trying not to puke in the floor. Is it too early for wine? Probably, huh?

I love it. I truly do. But this is the part where my oPinion means diddly squat. Ugh.

I did rewrite the query already. Nothing like having such optimism. :/

*hides*

Awww, (((hugs))). It's never too early for wine. And all eight freckledy white beagle paws are crossed for you. :)

Tas, did you hear the news story this morning about the guy who went into a W*lM*rt, walked through the store picking up everything he needed to make meth, put it all into a salt shaker and proceeded to shake it up before being caught? The shaker was heating up and the staff was holding it with gloves, not knowing what to do with it. They took it outside and called the cops, I think; fortunately nothing happened.

O.O

Idiots like these are why we have to show ID to buy freakin' Sud*fed.

OMG DID EVERYONE SEE DRAGONFLY'S ANNOUNCEMENT IN PM?????

Colby Marshall's CHAIN OF COMMAND, in which a reporter finds herself in the middle of a murderous plot that reaches all the way to the White House, to Pat Shaw at Stairway Press, in a nice deal.

Wow, that could have gone so very wrong in so many ways... *boggle*

Speaking of bizarre criminals... Friend of mine had her car (and her hubby's car) broken into last night. They didn't take the iPods, they didn't take the Garmin... No, they took a miniature flashlight that was a giveaway freebie from a convention they'd gone to.

Everyone on Facebook is now chiming in with stuff they've had stolen from their car. One person had granola bars stolen from her car.

WTF?

Behind you!
Got things crossed for lwalker, which makes the applause for Dragonfly awkward but not impossible.

Spent a pleasant hour taking in these expensive pants I bought last summer. They can't be darted due to pocket placement, so I did the job right and removed part of the waistband to take in seams. They're still kind of big. I give them five pounds before they become pinstriped linen pants for the discriminating clown of impeccable taste.

It's nothing much compared to the physical changes some of you have achieved, but I've tried for fifteen years to make this change, without success until now. So I'm pleased all out of proportion.

Tas, you have wisely chosen the gold standard in sinus meds. Mucinex-D rocks. It's the difference between curling up on the couch in a miserable lump, one clawlike hand clamped on the remote, and functioning well enough to do what you must.

Finished a first past on my beta read. Nicely done. I have almost nothing to say which might improve it. (Me, nothing to say? The End Time approaches!)*

Maryn, talkative in critique and beta reads

*Ha-ha, because I initially typed End Tims and immediately thought of our Tim, who I don't want to end.

I'm one of those who usually hates yogurt, too. But some rich plain greek yogurt, custom flavored with just the right amounts of honey and cinnamon, is absolute heaven. I'd dip those cinnamon teddy grahams in it if I could still do gluten. It'd be all sorts of amazing. But I'm a cinnamon addict.

Today I'll be revising my query letter. Again. And the synopsis. And everything else. :C
