My self-published novel, The Tycoon's Convenient Wife, has been on a free promotion for the last month. In that time it's had over 80,000 downloads, putting it in the Amazon UK top ten free books list. As a consequence, sales of all my other books have gone up dramatically. My next payment from Amazon should be around 40 times higher than the average payment I've received from them.

I've done free promotions before and they've never had this kind of impact. No idea why this one has, but I'm very happy about it!

I got my first review today. :) It's for "21", the first story in the "Blackjack Jill" series.

Congrats on those numbers, Ros!!! W00T!

I've finally been getting pretty steady sales on my novella! Not huge numbers like in the beginning, but the reviews just keep rolling in and they're all wonderful! :)

Smallish achievement that means a lot to me -- The Blemishes now has 108 ratings on Goodreads and is still 4.05 stars overall.

I remember how nervous I was when I started sending it to reviewers, and how I only ever expected 3 and 4 star reviews. Now nearly half of the raters have rated it 5 stars! Yay!

Sarah, congrats!
That's great news. Here's to many 'smallish' achievements in the future!

A milestone for me: One Bride for Seven Brothers is my first story to drop below #10,000 "Paid in Kindle Store".

Have just sold by 3,000th ebook. By comparison I have sold a total of 23 paperbacks. My novel was posted to Amazon on April fifth so it has been about three and a half months. Sales are still going pretty well and my novel is in the top 100 of two Amazon Best Seller categories. Currently #2 in Humor > Parodies and #87 in Fantasy > Sword & Sorcery.

Being on one of those lists is good free advertisement. I am hoping to still be on one when my second book is complete and just keep riding the momentum.

Congratulations. Keep riding the crest of the wave if you can. One good book helps sell the next one.

THE INVASION sold its 17,000th copy at some point this week.

THE VALLEY is 5 short of selling its 6000th

(These are my 2 best sellers. THE INVASION reached #2 in both Kindle Horror and Kindle Sci-fi a while back, and was #318 in the whole Kindle store for a couple of hours.)
