Why are there no tentacled romances?

heh. I'm glad I managed to drag my sick self out of bed - I've been pondering the lack of tentacle-centric writing... (almost typed testicle, there, whoops.)

I think many people avoid writing about tentacles because we're jealous we have none, and will never experience the special beauty and thrill of it all.

I, for one, have felt utterly deprived and inadequate for being forced to endure a life sans tentacles.

Testcase1 has now been retired for the year.

I had to research to get the gist right, and realise how un-figurative the use of tentacles was... each to their own, hey!

And to respond to the original poster, if this is the new erotica craze, then if you want to jump on the band wagon, then do so quickly, I would presume these 'fads' come and go pretty swiftly. Alternatively, start the next craze. Anyone for suggestions?

I know there are a lot of these because I've read people referring to their existence a lot and I've even encountered them on Amazon while searching for completely unrelated things.
