Well, after over 3 years, I changed my avatar. This is the debut of my cover for my soon to be released novel, The Railroad Man. I'm hoping to have it out on Create Space, KDP and Smashwords by spring of 2014. Hope you guys like the new look.

I might add I just picked up an HO scale version of that exact locomotive on my cover painted in the exact paint scheme that is shown there! Planning to put together a goof "Promo Train" to run on my layout! Having too much fun now!

Congrats, everyone!

Shara, a publisher! That's wonderful!

Maxx, on the 10,000 words. That's a great milestone.

pdichellis, that's brilliant!

Ken, awesome cover!

Grizzle, well done! Way to go. (And a cool cover, too.)

Here's to you all! :TheWave:

Website And Blog Now Functional

Just wanted to let you guys know the website for The Railroad Man (www.therailroadman.com) is now fully functional. There is a blog attached to the site that I'm hoping to start posting stuff on. Right now, the novel is still not available as it goes through its final pre-flight checks. I'm hoping to have the novel out there on KDP and Create Space shortly. It's been a long and sometimes difficult road just to get to this point, but I believe in this novel, and also believe that should some of you decide to read it once it's made available, you'll like it a lot! Until then, I'll continue plodding ahead.

Jeseymour, CONGRATULATIONS! :hooray: Looks like you have a way with short stories! How many is this published now?

And Grizzletoad, that's great about the website. To me, it means you are taking yourself seriously as a writer.

My first published story of the new year!

My flash story “They Die in Eight Minutes” is free to read at Shotgun Honey, one of the top crime-thriller ezines on the net.

Storyline: A desperate cop fights a ticking clock to stop a midnight murder.

Best wishes,
Peter DiChellis

And I just got HistorySleuth's new edit of her book and am restarting it.

Awww. Hope you like it. It's the first edition. Worth millions! The new edited one should be out mid-February. Hey but yours is autographed! Here is the new cover I designed and the blurb on the back:
"In 1856, in the rural town of Alabama, NY one woman's family suffered from multiple unexplained deaths. The town folk grew suspicious of the now remarried Polly Frisch. An investigation commenced, bodies were exhumed, an affair—exposed. Polly would be arrested for the murders of her first husband and daughters. Her fourteen-year-old son would testify against her. If found guilty, the punishment for such a crime was the gallows. Bread & Butter is the true story of Polly Frisch who poisoned her family with arsenic and the five trials it took to convict her. "

Congratulations BfloGal on your new release and promo. Great title, Bloom and Doom.

My newest story is featured today on the review blog “Kevin’s Corner.”

The blog gives a 250-word sample of the story, cuts it off at a “cliffhanger,” and gives the reader a link to finish the story free.

Here's the cliffhanger:

[it was] a perfect spot for a midnight murder.

Tick, tick . . . 11:57.

Best wishes,

Peter DiChellis

Hello guys. Things are really heating up now as I move closer and closer to the publication of my novel. I have a website, as you know (www.therailroadman.com) and now I have a Facebook Page for it. ( Just search for The Railroad Man) Check them out. Very exciting stuff going on. I'm jazzed!
