That's a great song (although overplayed.) "Paul is a real estate manger who never had time for a wife, and he's talking with Davy, whose still in the navy, and probably will be for life." That's a perfect lyric – in one short sentence you get a complete picture of two different bar flys.
Except that Paul isn't a manager -- he's a real estate NOVELIST, which I think adds considerably more depth to the portrait (and brings this thread solidly back into the AW fold).
