My book has been hard to cast for the main reason that I have all them at different ages for a good majority of the book. But I'll give it a try.
Summary: My main character Ithaca Porter is writing her autobiography for her English class. She bounces back and forth from her present day life to the past. Takes place in New York City with excursions to Orlando, Florida and Philidelphia.
Emily Osment as Present Day Ithaca Porter (My Main Character): She is seventeen years old and HIV positive. She and her mother have a very rocky, intolerable relationship. Is very close to her father. Falls in love with Martin Bowery.
Josh Groban as a younger Max Porter (Ithaca's Father): Max is a musician and street preformer. Meets best friend Tricky Howard when Max stole his spot at Washington Square Park.
Eric Bana as Present Day Max Porter
Meaghan Jette Martin as a younger Stacey Mark (Ithaca's Mother): Stacey comes to New York City with Max when she is sixteen years old. Gets addicted to cocaine and heroin. Still loves Max even though he has moved on with Keri.

Kevin Jonas as younger Tricky Howard (Ithaca's godfather and Max's best friend): Tricky got his name by being a street magician. He and Max become best friends after sharing a spot in Washington Square Park. Is in a committed relationship with Joe Murphy.

Ben Barnes as Younger Joe Murphy (Ithaca's godfather and Max's best friend): Joe is a freelance fashion designer. He is the closest to Ithaca besides her father. Has been with Tricky for almost 30 years.

Bryce Dallas Howard as Younger Keri Stewart (Max's fiancee): Keri is Ithaca's best friend Susie's mother. The two girls meet at a camp for HIV positive children. Keri and Susie live in Philadelphia.

Eddie Cahill as Detective Albert Arvine (Porter Family friend): A detective with the NYPD. Becomes friends with Max, Tricky and Joe after finding Ithaca alone in Tompkin's Square Park.
Lisa Edelstein as Detective Amelia Arvine-Harris (Porter Family Friend): Albert's wife and partner in the NYPD.
Cappie from Greek as Martin Bowery (Ithaca's Love Interest): Martin is Ithaca's boyfriend. He is also HIV positive. He works as a social worker at the Brooklyn Medical Center.
Taylor Atelian (Ruby from "According to Jim") as Susie Stewart (Ithaca's best friend and Keri's daughter): Ithaca's best friend.
