I've been enjoying reading the forums here on AW recently, so thought I'd join in on the fun!
I don't have anything published yet, unless you count a poem when I was a kid. Right now I'm working on a YA novel that I consider "light sci-fi", and have a MG novel started that got shoved to the back burner for now.
I'm excited to be a part of the AW community!

Yep, it counts. Thanks to my second-grade story published in the Big Timber Pioneer weekly newspaper, I call myself a "longtime published author."

Thanks for that! I guess I knew as a kid that being a published writer was important to me, but I've let life get in the way since then.
