Is he a future Mr. 10?

It will probably surprise you, but he's not. He's just an awesome actor. I think he's incapable of acting badly.

It doesn't hurt or anything that he's totally adorable:

Thanks for the continued bday wishes.

Last year I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends. This year I upheld the tradition of inviting a bunch of folks to see a movie yet going alone. Yay.

But I spent 4 bucks at the claw machine and came away with a well made red angry bird knockoff. The yellow evaded me and the black was jammed against a wall.

Recalculating....
I think what we are seeing here is the scarred reaction of a person who recently finished a master's degree in a business/IT oriented subject.

Eggs Acktaly.

And, thanks to being exposed to Pr0ject's radioactivity, someone is now The Pr0ject Bish at work.

It's more fun than you can shake a boom-stick at.

Whereas my first thought was, "You need to hold that weapon tighter in your shoulder, bro. Otherwise the recoil is going to break your effing collarbone."

Then, "Holy cow, he shoots southpaw!"

Cute only applies to the sniper rifle.

My thoughts went kind of like this: "Oh, to be that thingie."

Also, Cobes, it's a movie. It doesn't have to be accurate :D Maybe he was just sliiiiding it closer. And southpaws are sexay! :D

The one that starts with the 16-page questionnaire and ends with that blind underwater confusion training that SEALs do?

Ees a seekrit.

(No, it's been updated. I've realized that my harem nor my z-word killing squad need blind underwater confusion training, however amusing. I've replaced it with something a little more useful, and hilarious.)

Scrabbl3 skills? Cause once society collapses into anarchy, we'll need survivors who can spell.

Or cook. Because dang it, armadillo doesn't smoke itself!

Was it otherwise okay? Or just a lot of running?

I enjoyed it on the whole. (Though it wasn't difficult to be better than MI2 and 3. I really did not like no. 3)

My first writing task of 2012 was to produce an electronic version of a short-short I wrote about twenty-one years ago (on an Amstrad PCW, no less), and which I didn't think existed any more until I found a hardcopy (dotmatrix print!) last year. It comes to 989 words after some minor tweaks and is a rare humorous piece from me.

I'm sorry for being gone all day. I went out with Big Sis. We went to lunch (mmm... chicken tiki masala!), and then window shopping.

More importantly, we were talking about a story I've been picking at, and she figured out what my plot flaw was, and how to fix it. Whoo hoo!

Happy birthday Fen!

Evening all!

I made it home from work before the roads got too bad. You think they'd salt them before rush hour, but nooooooo. :(

I'm probably going to unplug from the internet tonight to get some writing done. Yinz are too distracting sometimes. :D

On the phone with my sister, who was grocery shopping.

Her: How do I pick a good squash?

Me: Heavy and firm. Good skin. No mold.

Her: Just like I like my men!

Me: Please to develop some standards. KTHXBYE.
