I've been to F Scot Fitzgerald's grave, for example, which was in this really small cemetery in the middle of the city. Very odd.
That would have been really cool. If you go back, get a rubbing for me. :D

Let's see...I could maybe do a rubbing of Jimi Hendrix's around here.

The names on a lot of them are just so good.

Take this one for instance Sam Hartman.

Could you use oil pastels to do etchings? My son as a lovely set.

On cemeteries: My husband wants to be cremated when he dies and reminds me of this fact every now and then. I always reply, hell no, you're going in the ground. You know how much I love to visit cemeteries.

Dolores, do both.

Cremate him, then bury the urn and give him a headstone.

:D

ETA: Look, great minds do think alike!

You have a deal, though I don't need one in return. Not my thing and I wouldn't know where to put it.

:D
Ha! Good. Because I was going to be lazy and not actually hold up my end. Thank you. :D

Well, he wants to be scattered to the wind. But I guess I could scatter some and bury the rest, huh?
Oh--or, you could...
Never mind. I don't want to talk about your husband dying anymore, Dolores. It's sad. :(

A night of talking about death and graveyards, cool. To bad I missed it.

Stoopid work. *sighs*

My only request to my hubs is that I not be buried here.

And in other, happier news, I was asleep before 11 last night. :D

Yay!
And I actually overslept this morning. Which NEVER happens. Got something like..9 hrs of sleep. Apparently I'm catching up, or else my body is just trying to eff with me a little more and I'll be up at 3am again tonight.

Good morning, hounds.
Morning, Blunt. :hi:

I'd rather be cremated - I'm claustrophobic, have issues with bugs, and am not a fan of people staring at me - but I'm thinking that when the time comes, I really won't care.

Well, I do imagine wasting away, until I'm just a sliver of my former self and then probably...slipping down the drain.

Wait. Ew. Does that mean I'll end up in the sewer?

I may change my answer.
