More specifically, a mix of repeated notes and h-o's/p-o's, creating a "flowing" type of pattern. I always love when tracks do that. Examples:
Broken Social Scene — "Swimmers" (it's pretty obvious early on)
Mogwai — "Yes I am a Long Way from Home" (esp. in places like 1:32-1:40)
Tortoise — "Tin Cans and Twine" (esp. in places like 2:08-2:24)
I know this is specific, but that's the way I want it. And I'd rather not get a bunch of replies like, "I'm not sure, but if you like Mogwai, you might like [insert list of post-rock bands]." I'm not expecting many replies anyway.
Thanks in advance.
