*hugs* for Suzanne and Aggy and the crickets. What's #wordmongering? I'm blahish too. Bleh, bleh, bleh.
More *hugs* for Lillie. Oh well, is only one and it's back out again. The good stuff will come! Write it and they will come. At least we're all in the same boat. (If mine sinks, ya'll are going down with me *g*)
Do you think it's crazy to wait a day or two until my overall mood is at least better?

So I opened it, and thought I'd at least have a good cry before I had to pick my daughter up from school, and maybe we'd do something fun this evening to distract me.
Nice!
I remember hearing about this story. I've had one story like that, that really hit me hard, but it didn't involve a 50 foot ZOMBIE APE!
Still crickets for me. Passing the time by finishing up my nihilistic sci-fi western.
Still crickets for me. Passing the time by finishing up my nihilistic sci-fi western. If I can get it done by Saturday evening I'll have my W1 done for the week.

Anyone want to have our own little mini-workshop where we choose a magazine/market, read it and try to figure out what made those stories work for that magazine/what the stories that get published have in common?
I read them, and look for one that publishes something I like. But the nuances are escaping me, I believe. I end up with 'they want good stories' There has to be more to it than that. And analyzing the stories would be good for my writing, I think. Similar to what Izz is doing.
