Ryan Gosling Must Be Stopped (my new webseries!)

So I haven't had anything too exciting to report here for a good long while, but I am very happy to announce that as of last week the first two episodes of a webseries I co-wrote/directed/produced went online!

It's a silly thing called RYAN GOSLING MUST BE STOPPED but I am very proud of what I and my co-creator made. We've never been behind the camera before, and as you guys know I write novels not screenplays. The fact that we went from talking about this to actually doing it is a big deal in and of itself, but we are also pretty darn proud of the end result.

This one has tons of stunt and weapon work. I'm friends with a bunch of folks in the stunt community here in Toronto and was super lucky to have them help me and my co-creator out with this episode. Also there's a little bumper after the credits that may or may not tie into Toothpaste's other career as YA author . . .
