I just finished the first draft of my novel. Word count is quite a bit lower than where I wanted it to be, but I guess that's why it's just a draft, right?

This is the first time I've actually finished a piece of writing that I've started and I have to say... it feels pretty darn good :snoopy:
Thanks for letting me share!

Congrats! It's a great feeling to be able to say that the first draft is done! (And yes, plenty of work ahead, not to mention changes!)

Hey Lindy,

Awesome! Well done!

Have fun with bulking it up a bit :)

Congrats!

I tend to write on the low side too. The fun part is adding in bits that not only amp up the wordcount, but also give the piece greater depth, character and zing.

Blessings,

Thanks very much, everyone. Setting it aside for a bit is excellent advice... I do need to step back so I can see exactly where it should be beefed up. Your support is very much appreciated :Hug2:
