Hi, everyone,
I got an email from a publisher(Leadstart Publishing House, India) saying that they've approved my anthology for publication.
Here's how the process started,
In their website, they had mentioned,
--for novels, submit 1st three chapters.
--for anthologies, submit five stories.
A week ago, I got an email from them asking for the entire anthology. They said that my work has passed the preliminary evaluation.
So, I sent the entire set of 15 stories and waited...
This morning I got an email saying their editors have approved the set and are willing to go ahead. Their process is that they'll upload the anthology in their data base which will be visible for commissioning editors to see. As and when the commissioning editors find it worthy of publishing, they'll give me a call and offer a contract.
The Publishing House has only given me a 'Letter Of Intent' explaining their policies and have allowed me to pitch to other publishers till their own commissioning editor gets back to me.
How should I reply to them? I want to ask them within how much time will any commissioning editor approve my book?
Thanks in advance...
