Annick Massis' extraordinary Me voilà seule dans la nuit... Comme autrefois also from Bizet's The Pearl Fishers. I hadn't heard this Venetian Gran Teatro La Fenice production before tonight, if anyone else likes this kind of thing I can heartily recommend it.

Clutch - Binge and Purge
This song has lots of rumors surrounding it. As far as I know, some venues forbade Clutch from playing it after the audience got a bit too rowdy at some gigs so when they started playing it at one gig, the owner of the venue pulled the plug. Regardless, I think it's likely the best workout song ever.

Saosin used to be one of my favorite bands back in the day, when Anthony Green sang for them. His voice is pretty/love hate, but I love it, though I've grown out of the "emo" music a bit.
