World Book Night (the adult version, the children's version was last week) is coming up in April. It is on Wednesday 23rd April.
On Thursday 24th April, a group of authors local to the Manchester area are getting together at local geek hangout, the FAB café, to do a 'Fashionably late WBN party'. Those of us who were chosen as givers will be giving, the rest will be doing readings, giveaways and other events.
We are looking for other authors who may be interested in coming along and participating - reading, giving talks, engaging in discussions etc.
If you are local to Manchester or anywhere in the UK and willing to travel there on a Thursday night and want to do some publicity and support reading and literacy in general then we would like to hear from you. Please get in touch either by PM here or on [email protected] to discuss details.
