Finished I've Got Your Number (Sophie Kinsella) a few days ago - I think that might be my favorite book of hers. I definitely prefer the non-Shopaholic books.

Just started The Art of Racing in the Rain (Garth Stein).

I'm a hundred pages into The Corrections, by Jonathan Franzen.

So far, the author's satirical skewering of modern American life overshadows the poignant family story he's trying to tell. His later book Freedom dialed back the satire after the opening pages, and that one moved me deeply. I hope this one gets the satire out of its system soon.

So The Art of Racing in the Rain is a bit too upsetting for me. I think I'll still finish it, but...uggh. I hate being overly sensitive.

Brett Marie, I hope you like The Corrections more than I do!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I had gotten on a classics kick, and I think I'm about ready for more modern language and writing style.

The Betrayal Knows My Name by Hotaru Odagiri. Manga. Angst! Humor! Intrigue! More Angst! Girls in painfully short pleated skirts! Guys with open jackets and the top button of their jeans unbuttoned! :e2brows: Did I mention angst?

I love manga. It's my ultimate reading relaxation.

I'm reading Game of Thrones again. I started it last year, but got to a part around page 120 that pissed me off so much I had to put it down. Well, after having no time for reading for a couple of months, I have a bit of free time and decided to give it another go. Up to page 300 now, and I'm really enjoying it again. :)
