The trouble had been my right hip; pot-marked with a mix of outcast street performance art, low lead gasoline fumes, and infected India ink. It still kept the bananas inline but sometimes, during the dreary season, when the crusted snow pulled back to reveal all the roadside trash and evening air became think with trickle, I could feel a pull, a lean toward city.

"Oh c'mon, it's not like you haven't made up a word out of two before. Remember our junior year and you came up with Jerri-licious?" Sara said with a slyness.
"Yeah, but we all knew what that meant. It wasn't cryptic, not like wormfull."

He made the salt shaker disappear. He covered it with a napkin, said some kind of abracadabra stuff, and it disappeared! It went through the table. Unreal!
Either the five canisters of dirt had something to do with modern sweeper cyclone technology, or the fact that no one had swept under the bed for a year.
