To be fair, while voting may be over there isn't any exact date given for when the results will be announced, just that it will be soon-ish.

A couple of weeks ago it was reported that around 70 folk had voted.

I see some of the stories still don't even have 70 views.

Does that mean some folk voted without reading all the stories, or are all views not recorded?

Just curious.

Yes, we'll just have to be patient

I wondered that as well. But was it 70 people or 70 votes? Because 70 votes at 3 apiece makes more sense.

Ahh, speculation breeds discontent, or is it the other way 'round? No matter. Patience is a virtue, and we are virtuous folk, so we shall heed the rules, to wit:
Quote:
Winners will be announced after Thanksgiving (USian), before December 1st.
and wait patiently.

Perhaps an inspirational quote will help us as we wait. Aha!
Quote:
Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau
And to our esteemed collegue c-o-l-l-e-a-g-u-e*, a little nudge, perhaps:
Quote:
Oh look at me!!! I'm making people happy! I'm the magical man from happy land, with a gumdrop house on lollipop lane! ~Homer Simpson

*Apologies or however you spell it. I suck at spelling swear to Ggodd. . .

I changed my mind.
Quote:
Fuck the fruit.
No, I can't say that. Look, I'm crossing it out:
Quote:
Fuck the fruit.
And I'll make it tiny.
Quote:
Fuck the fruit.
And lighten the damn thing.
Quote:
Fuck the fruit.
Now I'll translate it into heiroglyphics:

Please hurry, Mac.

I didn't mean to go MIA on you guys -- I knew ahead of time that the week following Thanksgiving was going to be really slammed.

Hopefully, though, we'll have the results tallied and posted by sometime tomorrow night.

Voter turnout was really excellent, by the way. It's a nailbiter, for sure. And WAY more fun than the USian presidential election was, earlier this month...
