Just dub me "film pillager" (as opposed to just regular "pillager"). That means I can burn the film, rape the concept, and pillage the director.

Or do I have the concept wrong?

Oh, btw, spoke with an attorney on the phone this afternoon about my upcoming EOP hearing next Monday. His advice - if the person who slapped me with the order comes in with a lawyer and a gang of "witnesses", or even if I become uncomfortable, ask the judge for a continuance in order to allow me time to obtain legal counsel. The attorney said the judge would almost certainly grant it.

That's good news because I'm pretty certain I'm being followed, watched, and she'd welcome any chance to destroy my life.

<sigh>

Such promise..., such promise...wasted...

I'm going to have to nag your mom for pics of you as a goofy, awkward youth, aren't I?

There are no photographs of me as a goofy, awkward youth. :tongue

I would answer, but there may be people reading who I don't want to tip off. And I really, really, really want to get a juicy gig sooner rather than later - I need something to occupy myself with.

I will not linky to Burn, Hollywood, Burn, no matter how entertaining taunting directors is - and I am behaving myself today.

Of course, if (most likely when) I get told that what I want to do isn't possible, my tongue may be loosened. :D

Aww, Ted! Is that avvie your new bait for the candy van?

Bait? What is this "bait" you speak of?

I'm genuinely soft and cuddly. In fact, millions of people prefer to have me in their bed at night than anybody else. Why? Because I'm safe. And cuddly.

And I don't have a van. I drive a *gag* Prius and *cough* I love the environment *cough*

Let's just leave it at cute and cuddly, okay?

I'm sure there's a hippie smiley or two out there wandering the net.

In fact, I'm so sure, I'll eat my wool if you can't find one. Or, failing that, if I can't find one after you say you can't find one. I really have no desire to eat wool.

:D

I suddenly have the image of Yossarian in Catch-22 sitting up in a tree and being given chocolate covered cotton because Milo bought too much Egyptian cotton.

I don't remember that part. Though admittedly I've not read the book in a long, long time.

Also, for the longest time, never remembered that Joseph Heller wrote the book despite being asked the question in nearly every Academic Challenge practice we had.

I've heard that.

I have vague recollections of starting to read Closing Time, but that's about it. Or maybe I simply meant to read it, and never did.

So, in other words, I am rapidly approaching the magical age where it will resonate for me?

:D

Well, if I put it on my TBR list, by the time I get to it I will probably be 40.
