I was two weeks old.

I was sixty-one.

I wondered "Did she ever really love me?"

I loved you at the end.

I really wasn't expecting any response - I just had to get those feelings off my chest, so to speak.

You see, Mom abandoned me when I was an infant - 33 years later, I found her, and almost 30 years after that, she left me again as a result of cancer.

We had a pretty good relationship in the interim, and forgiveness is a powerful thing, so it's all good.
