Hello, I know I'm fairly new, but I wanted to advertise my own forum. It's called The Scribe's Tavern, and focuses on any kind of writing. We have Fan-Fiction, General Fiction and Poetry. It's a really cool place, and we have some great reviewers.
Please come and be apart of our community. TST is an excellent hub for writers wishing to become better writers. ![]() Here is a link. I do hope you'll come: http://tesfiction.proboards.com/index.cgi? |

Welcome to www.storyfix.com... an instructional site for writers, especially novelists and screenwriters. In two months its grown rapidly, with guest blogs on all the major writing sites and pretty incredible reader reviews.
Currently running -- a 10-part series on Story Structure. Over 40 backlogged, intense writing tutorials available. Hope to see you there... and remember, subscription is FREE and results in posts appearing regularly in your inbox. It's like having a live-in writing personal trainer... but without the gym shorts. |

New post today on Storyfix.com you might like -- on writing voice. Can't be taught. Few try, fewer succeed. Must be discovered, then evolved through practice. See how and why here. Thanks.

freelance non-fiction writer sites...
Are there any full-time freelance non-fiction writers here, who have a website? Would you be kind enough to post a link to your site?
As a freelance non-fiction writer, I am now in the process of rethinking my own website, and wish to get some ideas on presentation, design etc. I attempted an archives search on the Writer’s Websites forum (journalist, journalism), but nothing was retrieved. The Writer’s Websites forum is 99.99% fiction writer sites. Thanks. |

You might want to check LinkedIn for profiles of non-fiction writers. Those might have websites listed in them.
You can also check mine for my SQL Server stuff (non-fiction). http://www.brandietarvin.net.

Hello everybody! Just wanted to post a link to my latest project.
In honor of benevolent Comrade Barack's recent FAILED mission to secure the 2016 Olympics for Chicago while completely ignoring more pressing issues of national security, I am currently organizing a grassroots campaign for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games to be hosted by Kabul, Afghanistan. Please take a moment to sign my official petition at http://www.kabul2020.blogspot.com. Official Kabul 2020 logo wear is also available for purchase. Top three reasons to host 2020 Olympic Games in Kabul: 3) Cricket and Buzkashi will be medal events! 2) Women will compete in water sports wearing burqas instead of swim trunks. 1) Security will be provided by USA and Coalition Forces, who will no doubt still be in Afghanistan in 2020.

Still a bit crude, but my website now exists: D.MacDowell Blue
Currently I'm hoping to generate "buzz" for my first full-length novel, Baneworth.
