Lightbulb Suddenly Lost In Words YA e-publisher (5 cents per word)

Suddenly Lost in Words is looking for YA stories ages 13+. Not only for a great read, but to be used in classrooms. A great short story that can be used in the classroom is not always easy to find. We are also looking for a novel that can be serialized in 5+ segments.
Please check out our submission guidelines and send us a story. We are also looking for website and cover art/photos.

Hi, Charlotte. This really isn't the right spot for a submissions call. We have a forum for markets. I see from your submission guidelines that you pay 5 cents a word so I will port this to the Paying Market forum. Your listing will probably get more traffic there.

Thanks, SM

This looks like a great publication. I submitted something, and hope you like it.

Also, thanks for participating in Duotrope. That website is incredibly important.

Subbed as well. Ah, didn't realize these stories would be used in the classroom--that's neat. Now I'm wondering if my story is classroom material...

This is great! Not enough call for YA short fiction.

That's certainly a challenge. Makes me think of the short stories that've stayed with me from my youth; so, that's a pretty high bar. I'll give it a go!

Submitted a minute ago. Good luck to all. It's so great to see something for YA readers that isn't genre specific and is open to classroom use.

Very fast response time.

Is this affiliated with One Buck Horror, by chance?

Don't worry about your story being classroom material. A good story is a good story. Remember almost every good piece of literature has been banned somewhere.
Don't be afraid send us some stories. If you want direct feedback let us know.

Please send us a story and we are looking for a novel that we can serialize. Do any of you remember waiting anxiously for that next chapter? We are hoping to bring back some of that excitement

Posted a story("Driving Lessons") June at Suddenly Lost In Words and haven't received any response.

Maybe it isn't what you are looking for, but I would like to know your thoughts on the story.

Are you still accepting stories? I've got a short story I'd like to polish up and send off to you.
