It's just over 61,000 words. I may pass it out for beta's again though and see about making some changes.

Really disheartening to wait for 14 weeks and get a bland rejection just to go start everything over.

Do we have a spare body I can go slash up to let off some frustration?

My mom read my story that got pub'd last month. She laughed but said it was weird. I told her, it wasn't bloody and it wasn't scary, I can't remove everything good. She'll love the next one that comes out.

I've noticed that feeling dirty is really a comforting sensation.

Well, I feel like if it wasn't good enough for Samhain, it probably isn't good enough for anybody, but it's in.

I suppose if that feeling doesn't go away I could still submit to Permuted though. I feel like their standards are kinda lax.
