I'm a fair bit disappointed in the handling of Littlefinger. It seems they're making him into more and more of a cartoon villain, and one thing I love from the books is how, while he may seem amoral, he's no more "evil" than any of the other characters. They're all self-serving, devious, back-stabbing but he's just better at it. Also, even up until the last book we still didn't know what game he was really playing (and even now he might be lying about his motives), so he could easily take a dramatic shift later in the series. But in the show, they're narrowing his personality so much he can ONLY be a villain. It's impossible to feel sympathy for a man that menaces his employees like that.
There were a LOT of sex scenes in episode two, but it's really only the whorehouse ones I found gratuitous. Actually, all the whorehouse scenes except the baby-killing seem pointless, since they do nothing to further the plot and just seem to operate as a mechanism for making Littlefinger look more evil, and ensuring the per-episode tits quota.
Sigh, is it just me or has Cersei turned into a moron this season?
Still enjoying it, though. Looking forward to Tyrion's increasing importance in the plot.
