I'm writing a horror screenplay that looks like it will clock it at under an hour.

Rather than try to pad it out to 90 minutes, I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about the marketability of a script this short.

Most shorts contests require the script to be 30 pages or less.

How much under an hour are you talking about?

What are you thinking in terms of marketability -- a sale? You probably couldn't sell it -- even if it was magnificent -- to a production company because they wouldn't have a way to distribute a non-feature, but Ink Tip allows screenwriters to list their available shorts for free. And there's no page restrictions -- the only requirement is that it can't be a feature. There's a horror category, too.

The only other option is a TV pilot, which clock in at around 50-60 pages but those have a very specific format.
