I like how this brand volunarily recalled their stuff, unlike *****, who has hundreds of complaints about pets getting sick or dying since last year and still had the gall to run a web page about pet food honesty putting down other brands while they themselves happily use byproducts.

My pets are on a rotation of Natural Balance, Go!, Now, and Instinct. No regrets.

If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, my cats have not had that brand in months! That company killed one of my friends cats!

February 4, 2015 – Valparaiso, IN – J.J. Fuds in Valparaiso, IN is expanding their recall to include all lots and products of J.J. Fuds Chicken Tender Chunks, Beef Tender Chunks and Duckling Tender Chunks Pet Food because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and or Salmonella.

The recalled products were distributed regionally in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois to wholesale and retail customers. The product can be identified by the batch ID code (manufactured date) and UPC code printed on the back of the individual plastic bag or on the master case label. These products are a frozen raw poultry or beef product (see Safe Handling Instructions on package) and have a shelf life of one year if kept frozen.

February 23, 2015 — ARDEN HILLS, MINN. — Purina Animal Nutrition LLC has initiated a limited voluntary recall of DuMOR® Sheep Formula in Florida due to the potential for a higher-than-acceptable level of copper, which can cause health issues and potential mortality.


Customers should discontinue feeding the product immediately. The product was distributed to seven Tractor Supply Company stores in Florida. The recall is limited to DuMOR® Sheep Formula produced at the Lake City, Florida plant on Nov. 28, 2014.
