Hafsol by Sigur Ros, live from We Play Endlessly

One of the greatest songs they've written.

Well, this hasn't been updated...

New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down by LCD Soundsystem

I watched their last concert Shut Up and Play the Hits, and I was balling my eyes out at the end. One of the greatest bands in the last 2 decades, and watching their last show, and listening to their last song together. Damn, it still hurts.

Blue Christmas - Lady Antebellum

(Yes, a Christmas song from a Christmas album - Don't judge me!)

Order! Order! Order in the court!

"Life on Mars" - David Bowie

I'm starting to regret putting so many of his songs on my writing playlist, though. I just want to sing and dance, rather than get actual work done.

Is that Traditional-Japanese-Hop? :D

Flight Test by The Flaming Lips

The Flaming Lips is one of those bands you don't have the urge to listen to, but damn yourself for not listening to them enough. Just, they are great, plain fantastic. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is a modern classic.

I am not sure what to call it, to be honest. Stumbled upon it a coouple years back. The whole cd is pretty chill with traditional Japanese instruments.

Pretty cool song, first time hearing it.

One of my all time favorite composers: Brace Brace - Bonobo

Never heard of The Flaming Lips? Seriously? They're the modern Velvet Underground.

Bonobo is good too. You really do like that Instrumental Hip-hop/Trip-hop, huh?

Haha, I am sorry! Take solace in the fact I have heard them now thanks to you. I mean, I had heard of them before, just never actually listened.

I do, I do. Can't get enough really. I am in love with Nomak, Ratatat, and Emancipator too. And Aether. And Tycho. So much goodness.

Your welcome. I always like to give recs out. The music and the novel industry shares a common practice: Word of mouth is the best marketing.

Blue Sky Black Death is one of my favorite bands. Mostly Instrumental Hip-hop, but it branches out everywhere from there.

What Sarah Said by Death Cab For Cutie

I really wish this album was mastered better. The highs above 18,000kz are clipping. Can't stand it.
